Objective: transform a raw image into a clean and impactful visual suitable for e-commerce and brand communication.
Work included:
Background removal and cleanup
Creation of a solid background aligned with the brand’s visual identity
Brightness and contrast adjustments to enhance the product
Color harmonization, especially for purple tones
Removal of imperfections (dust, reflections, surface defects)
Sharpening and detail enhancement for a more polished result
The retouching was designed to create a clear, visually appealing image, with a strong focus on the product.

Julie - Studio Portrait (Editorial Retouching)
Studio portrait retouching created using Photoshop (iPad).
Objective: enhance the image while maintaining a natural look and a strong visual atmosphere.
Work included:
Balancing colored lighting (red/cyan)
Harmonizing skin tones and overall colors
Removal of imperfections and unwanted elements (skin, stray hairs, eyes, lashes/brows, lips)
Adjusting contrast and depth to strengthen visual impact
Special attention was given to color consistency in order to preserve the artistic intent of the original shoot.

Julie – Professional Portrait (Natural Retouching)
Retouching of a professional portrait using Photoshop (iPad).
Objective: improve the overall image quality while maintaining a natural and realistic result.
Work included:
Removal of imperfections and unwanted elements (skin, stray hairs, eyes, lashes/brows, lips)
Evening out skin tone and lips without over-smoothing the texture
Brightness and contrast adjustments
Color correction for more balanced tones
Subtle light and shadow adjustments to better structure the face
The retouching was designed to remain discreet and true to the subject, avoiding any artificial effect.

Marie - Artistic Portrait (Editorial Retouching)
Portrait retouching created using Photoshop (iPad).
Objective: develop an editorial aesthetic through contrast, lighting, and color grading.
Work included:
Contrast enhancement to add depth and sculpt facial features
Color grading focused on warm tones and a darker atmosphere
Skin tone harmonization while preserving natural texture
Removal of imperfections and unwanted elements (skin, stray hairs, makeup smudges, eyes, lashes/brows, inner corners, lip edges)
Local adjustments of shadows and highlights to enhance facial volume
This personal project allowed me to explore a more defined and expressive artistic direction while maintaining a realistic result.
